About the Lab

Welcome to the Obstetric Hemostasis Clinical Trials Unit (OB-HCT)

Based in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, this research group focuses on leading epidemiological and clinical studies on postpartum hemorrhage and bleeding during delivery, with particular focus on management protocols and reducing maternal mortality and morbidity globally. In addition, they focus on maternal health and interested in research involving postpartum hemorrhage management in low income countries and deprived communities with the picture of being part of a solution to this major public health threat.
